Lukas Naugle

Leadership

Founder Lukas Naugle launched Changegoat in 2010, consulting with the Phoenix-based family office, Marketplace One. He fostered a network of 300 high-impact entrepreneurs yielding over $200m in co-investment activity in the first 3 years, sourcing early stage deals between $100k and $2mm, and creating value in the areas of customer development, brand, and go to market that supported the successful launch of 4 portfolio companies. That partnership became a springboard by which Lukas has since delivered upward of 5,000 hours in executive sessions as a strategic advisor, operating partner, consultant, and coach and launched or transformed dozens of brands, businesses, and nonprofits.

His clientele has included professional athletes and speakers, philanthropists, venture-backed founders, investors, family enterprises, and social impact organizations. He has served in a range of leadership capacities for this diverse client base across functional domains that have included marketing and communications, product development, organizational development, and executive advisory. 

From its inception, Lukas has worked alongside the Founding Partners at Weatherford Capital as a Strategic Advisor and across the Weatherford Capital portfolio as an Operating Advisor with a particular focus on executive leadership, strategic communications, and market strategy. During this period Weatherford Capital has grown to over $1bn AUM.

He’s also held executive leadership roles in a variety of business and social good organizations, including a four year engagement as fractional executive, modernizing organizational capabilities and driving technology transformation at a $270mm international NGO.

A natural coach and catalyst, he leverages a range of creative processes driving strategic clarity with clients to promote growth, navigate change, galvanize teams, and optimize organizational performance Lukas holds a BA in International Business from Whitworth University and operates from Dallas, TX.
